I’ve given this stuff a try & it seems to work pretty well so far. Works just like Secret or Dove. Keeps me odor-free & dry for quite a while. But it doesn’t say that it’s an anti-perspirant(just a deodorant). But it does have aluminum sulfate in it…
So, is it pretty much the same as commercial deodorants/anitperspirants? Just maybe an older version?
Alright, so probably around October of 2008 my armpits itched like you wouldn’t believe. I think I had been using RightGuard for men (for lack of an inexpensive, aluminum-free, feminine deodorant) as a deodorant for the years before, but suddenly I had this TERRIBLE itch under my arms.:/ From itching, it developed a rash and I couldn’t apply any deodorant, as natural ones burned, antiperspirants itched, and wearing nothing of course smelled bad and itched as well. I’ve switched around from Arm & Hammer, Degree, and now I’m using Tom’s.
When I started using Tom’s Lavender with Hops back in June, EVERY symptom stopped and I was so relieved. Then recently, this whole rash thing has started all over again and I’m at a loss for what to do (besides visit a doctor, which is my intention soon). It peels and now the deodorant FOAMS when it comes in contact with my arm. I’ve read people have been having the same symptoms and blame it on their deodorant or sensitive skin, however, I do not have sensitive skin anywhere else but there–and how is it that I can be allergic to every deodorant and ingredient that touches my skin?
Ugh, I’d love some advice, thanks for listening~
