I sweat buckets no matter what the climate. I have tried natural products… but they never work. It seems my only options were to sweat/stink, use harmful deodorants, or get my sweat glands removed.
The product cannot contain PG, Steareth-n, Triclosan, or Aluminum Alum.
Also, I don’t want to smell like patchouli, or any other stereotypical stoner smell.
Please only post if you have used the product.
Feel free to post which products don’t work, that will help a lot.
After reading how terrible aluminum may be for us, I would REALLY like to switch to aluminum-free.
I have found 1- by Adidas. They have stopped making the product, but you can still find it at the moment. I don’t really feel like stocking up on years worth of products- and they will obviously run out!!
The product is effective- so my guess is they just stopped making it because not enough people are interested in aluminum-free.
I am looking for another one- and can only find DEODORANT. Anyone else know about an aluminum-free antiperspirant? That works?
I was under the impression that salt crystals were just deodorant, not antiperspirant. am i wrong?
Jen- I must inform you that your assumption is VERY wrong. While informed people are aware that aluminum can be damaging in many ways, other chose to ignore it or simply not believe it.
MOST deodorant/antiperspirants are made WITH aluminum- and in the past year or so, the al. content has actually gotten much higher- it has the "max amount of effective ingredient"- "clinical strength"- go to Target one day and at look at the shelf. All have anywhere from 14%- 20%. Deodorants, on the other hand DON’T have alum. in them- but they are just deodorants. Because there are not completely conclusive studies that have jabbed people in the eye showing them aluminum is harmful, the general population is OK (and grateful) for the aluminum in their antiperspirants!!
