Love the video, I’ve just started using ‘pit rok natural crystal deodorant’ I’m trying to research about anti-perspirants and their effects on health, and you appera to be the girls in the know lol so if you have any information or help that you could give me, I’d greatly appreciate it
I use the Bionsen one, it doesnt smell so much, but it was the only alluminium free deo i ever found and am really happy. for extra sweatty days i use another one with aloevera.

Well I don’t like Toms of Maine, they say they’re all natural but they have toothpaste and some is fluoride free and some isn’t. The thing is mostly at stores it’s fluoride and that’s the number 1 thing not to put in it. They aren’t trust worthy at all so why should I trust the deodorant. Besides I already tried it and it makes you sweat and it’s sticky.
Yeah really any store brands of ‘natural’ products aren’t real.

It’s a very good idea to review deo.s. But..
1) “avoid Alu. for all kind of reasons” => How come you don’t state any?
2) The brushed steel.. as the “steel soap”, one uses e.g. after gutting fish => removes smells upon use. Catalytic explanation?
3) The “crystal rock”.. are we talking about Potassium Alum? Alum for aluminium.

You know I tried the crystal one and I felt the same way. At first when I was smelly, I applied it and after it dried it didn’t smell bad. But when I did my errands after applying it (being in a heavy warm coat I got sweaty) I came back home and the smell came back.
Would that mean you would have to re-apply? Does it mean that its not working or just wears off? I like the crystal one because it doesn’t clog my pores like the other stick ones.
Hippy deodorant? Isn’t that an oxymoron?
Seriously though, nice go at finding less toxic deodorants. But Tom’s is mainly propylene glycol, which I try to avoid as much as possible (Tom’s not suprisingly insists it is absolutely safe; however, it is definitely NOT natural). One very natural alternative is a dab of tea tree oil on a cotton pad, diluted with water. It stings a bit going on, but guaranteed no B.O. (some might find the scent a bit strong–if so, try diluting until acceptalbe.)
